Body found on Skaha Beach in Penticton, B.C.

Penticton, BC – Officers responded to a report of a found body near the Skaha Marina, Skaha Lake, Penticton, BC.

On September 4th, 2019, at 7 a.m., emergency crews responded to a report of a body being found on the shoreline near the Skaha Marina, on Skaha Lake in Penticton, BC.

Emergency crews arrived and confirmed a female in her 50’s to have deceased.

The General Investigation Section, along with General Duty and the BC Coroners Service are currently investigating. The cause of death is not suspicious. This is not considered a criminal investigation, and out of respect for the family, no further information will be released, explained Cst. James Grandy.
