Surrey, BC – Surrey RCMP responded a two-vehicle collision on Nordel Way, just east of 120th Street, where a male succumbed to his injuries.
On September 8th, 2019 at approximately 1:15 A.M., Surrey RCMP were advised of a two-vehicle collision on Nordel Way, east of 120th Street. A grey Camaro with two male occupants in their late twenties was westbound on Nordel Way, when a black Mustang also with two male occupants in their late twenties beside them lost control, and the two vehicles collided. The Mustang, having lost control, went sideways into a hydro pole. The driver of the Mustang received serious but non-life threatening injuries. The passenger in the mustang succumbed from his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The two occupants of the Camaro received minor injuries. It was raining heavily at the time of the collision.
Nordel Way was closed to traffic in both directions between 120th St and 88th Avenue, but has since been re-opened.
Surrey RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision, has dash cam footage of the collision, or knows how the vehicles were being driven are asked to call the Surrey Royal Canadian Mounted Police at 604-599-0502 or to call Crime Stoppers in reference to Surrey File # 2019-138654.
