Whitecourt RCMP seek suspects wanted for attempted murder *update: arrested*

Mayerthorpe, Alberta – RCMP advise that wanted suspect Elvis Parker Mustooch has been arrested.

On September 18, 2019, Mayerthorpe RCMP acted on gathered intelligence and attended a residence on the Alexis First Nation where it was believed wanted suspect Elvis Mustooch was staying. With the assistance of the RCMP Emergency Response Team, Mustooch surrendered to police without incident.

Mustooch is facing new charges of:

– Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 (x2)

– Alter/remove/obliterate vehicle identification number

– Unauthorized use/carry a firearm

– Possession of dangerous weapon

– Possession of a firearm without a license to possess

– Possession of a firearm knowing it was obtained in the commission of an offence

– Possession of a firearm while prohibited

– Fail to comply with recognizance (x2)

– Fail to comply with probation order (x2)

Both suspects have been arrested.

Mustooch has been remanded into custody and is due to appear in Whitecourt Provincial Court on October 22, 2019. Mustooch will also appear in Mayerthorpe Provincial Court on October 24, 2019.

As this matter is now before the courts no further information will be provided.

Whitecourt RCMP seek suspects wanted for attempted murder

Whitecourt, Alta. – RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance to locate two suspects wanted on Criminal Code charges related to an attempted murder investigation.

On July 6, 2019, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Whitecourt RCMP were dispatched to the Whitecourt Hospital with regards to a male who had arrived with gunshot wounds. The victim was treated for his injuries.

Investigation has identified two suspects who have been charged with attempted murder and other firearms offences in relation to this investigation.

Warrants are currently out for the following suspects:

Elvis Parker Mustooch (20) of Alexis First Nation, who is described as:

– Indigenous male

– 5’9” tall, 120 lbs.

– Brown hair, green eyes

Katrina Judy Tuckwood (22) of Whitecourt, who is described as: *(arrested August 18, 2019)*

– Indigenous female

– 5’5” tall, 120 lbs.

– Black hair, brown eyes
