Edmonton Police seek assistance in identifying indecent act suspect – ARRESTED

Edmonton, Alberta – The Edmonton Police Service has arrested an 81-year-old male in connection to a Sept. 18, 2019 indecent act on an ETS bus.

It was reported to police that on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019, at approximately 10 a.m., a young teen female got on the Route #3 Cromdale bus at 101 Street and 107 Avenue.

Shortly thereafter, the teen noticed an older male staring at her for several minutes. The complainant then looked at the male and noticed he was exposing his genitals.

The complainant left the bus at the next stop and reported the incident to police.

Edward Benjamin Gladue, 81, was arrested by EPS Downtown Division Beat officers this morning, Friday, Sept. 27, 2019, after receiving a tip from security personnel working in a commercial building.

Gladue has since been charged with one count of indecent act in the public presence of one or more persons.
