Airdrie RCMP investigating liquor theft, asking public to help identify suspects

Airdrie, Alberta – Airdrie RCMP are currently looking for the persons responsible for a liquor theft which occurred on Sept 30, 2019.

Two male suspects entered the Star Liquor Store located on Yankee Valley Blvd in Airdrie, Alta. They purchased one bottle of vodka and upon leaving the store, one male ran back to the shelf and grabbed 2 bottles of Smirnoff vodka. They then exited the store without paying for the two bottles.

The males then fled the scene in a stolen 2009 Ford Escape.

The first suspect is described as:

– Indigenous male, medium build with short black hair

– Wearing a dark sweatshirt with a dark jacket, dark pants and black, red and white shoes.

The second suspect is described as:

– Indigenous male, medium build with short black hair

– Wearing a grey sweatshirt, blue jeans and black ball cap.
