Camrose, Alberta – October 18, 2019 – Police received a complaint of a person screaming by the Speedy gas station. Police attended and located a male who was intoxicated contrary to his court conditions. The male was arrested and charged with breaching his conditions and is waiting on a bail hearing.
At 2:45 AM Police conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle and the two male occupants were arrested when a baggie of cocaine was located in plain view. Police also found the passenger to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine. The two men had no connection to Camrose and both had a history of property crime and drug trafficking. The driver was charged with driving while suspended & breaching his conditions and both men were charged with possession of a controlled substance. The passenger was released on a promise to appear and the driver is in custody waiting on a bail hearing.

A west end restaurant contacted Police to advise that a male left their business without paying his $72 bill. Police are investigating.
A female reported that someone had caused damage to her vehicle which was parked in front of her residence at 4625 52 avenue.
An employee at Centra Cam advised that sometime overnight the locks were cut off one of their sheds and stole a small amount of fuel. .
Police located an abandoned vehicle on 48th avenue in the 7200 block which had significant damage from striking the boulevard. The vehicle was seized and Police are following up with the registered owner.
October 16, 2019
A female reported that her green mountain bike was stolen overnight from 114 Mt. Pleasant Drive.
A business reported that their green 1994 GMC truck had been stolen from their lot. The license plate on the vehicle was GCY132.
A liquor store advised that a female left without paying for two bottle of alcohol. Police are reviewing video surveillance.
A resident contacted Police to report that she could hear arguing between two people in her building. Police attended and identified the male and female and determined that he had no contact conditions with her. The male was arrested and charged with breaching his recognizance.
October 15, 2019
Police received a report of a break & enter to a business in the east end industrial area. The front entry glass had been broken and the suspect fled once the alarm activated. Video surveillance showed that the male suspect was operating a newer model white Ford F350 Platinum truck with a silver toolbox and a large red slip tank in the bed of the truck. Police determined that the truck had been stolen from the Donalda area at the end of September. Police are continuing their investigation.

Between the hours of 12:00 A.M and 5:00 A.M there were approximately 15 vehicles that had their windows/windshields damaged along 47 Street on the north end of the city. A vacant building in the downtown area was also broken into. Police recovered evidence linking these events.
