Cypress County, Alberta – RCMP are on scene at Township Road 154-A and Range Road 94 in response to a collision with a train. A gravel truck was struck by a train at approximately 3:00 p.m. today. The driver of the gravel truck was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. The train and its contents remain on the tracks.
The crossing is impassable and there is no timeline for re-opening.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. RCMP and Canadian Pacific Railway Police are investigating.
