Airdrie RCMP investigating armed robbery in Walmart parking lot

Airdrie, Alberta – Airdrie RCMP are investigating a robbery which occurred in the Walmart parking lot at approximately 8:40 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2019.

After shopping, a man returned to his 2010 matt grey coloured Mercedes car bearing BC plate AM534L. A white crew cab or extended cab pick-up truck was parked nearby. Occupants of this white truck demanded the keys of the Mercedes and wallet of the man while pointing firearms at him.

The victim turned over both his keys and wallet to the suspects who fled the scene in the truck and the Mercedes. The male victim was not injured during the incident.

Suspects were described as being two Caucasian males in their mid 20’s, wearing darker coloured clothing and hoodies. A female suspect also in the truck is described as possibly having blond hair and she was wearing white clothing.
