Woman Robbed at Gunpoint While Trying to Sell Cell Phone

Airdrie, Alberta – On October 19, 2019 at approximately 3:25 p.m., Airdrie RCMP responded to a complaint of a robbery with a firearm which occurred in the Williamstown neighbourhood.

The female victim was at the location to meet a person who wanted to buy her cell phone which she was selling. When the male suspect arrived he asked to see the phone. He then lifted his jacket and pulled a gun out of his belt. The suspect fled the scene with the cell phone. No one was injured during this incident.

The male suspect is described as:

• Approximately 20 years old

• 6 foot tall with a slim build

• Caucasian

• Wearing a black puffy jacket and dark shoes
