Chilliwack: Male Assault Victim not Expected to Survive: IHIT deployment

Chilliwack, BC – Shortly after midnight on October 22nd, 2019, Chilliwack RCMP were dispatched to a report of an assault with a weapon in the area of Yale Road and Fletcher Street in downtown Chilliwack. A male in his late 20s was transported to a regional hospital by ambulance. The male is not expected to survive his injuries. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called out to the scene.
