Leduc RCMP investigate Break and Enter and theft from ATM

Leduc, Alberta – Leduc RCMP are investigating a break and enter targeting an ATM machine that occurred early Sunday morning.

At approximately 4:00 a.m. on Sunday October 27th, 2019, Leduc RCMP were dispatched to an alarm at the New Sarepta Market. A short time later, a resident reported that they heard a loud noise, looked outside and saw a white Dodge Ram pickup truck leaving the area with something laying on the road.

Officers attended the New Sarepta Market and observed a damaged ATM on Centre Avenue. There was extensive damage done to the building.

Video surveillance showed a white Dodge Ram truck with no licence plate and two unknown suspects use a tow cable to pull the ATM from the building.

Suspect #1 – Wearing a head lamp, ski mask and a jacket with reflective emblem on the left chest

Suspect #2 – Wearing a Toque and neck warmer

The investigation is ongoing.
