Truck crashes into house in Valleyview, B.C.

Kamloops, BC – Three people escaped injury after a pick-up truck crashed into their home.

Last night, October 27th, at 9:30 pm, Kamloops RCMP were notified that a pick-up truck had left the frontage road on East Trans Canada Highway and collided with a residence in the 2300 block. After the collision, two men exited the vehicle and ran away from the area. Witnesses in the area were able to give police a direction of travel and through investigation, both men were located a short time later.

The 23-year-old driver displayed symptoms of being impaired and was issued a 90 day Immediate Roadside Prohibition, a 30 day impound and charged under the Motor Vehicle Act for failing to remain at the scene of an accident and for not having a driver’s license.


The three people inside of the home were not injured. There was substantial damage to both the house and the vehicle.
