Thompson RCMP seize drugs, cash and electrified knuckles

Thompson, Manitoba – On October 28, 2019, at 6:00 pm, RCMP executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, at a residence on Deerwood Drive, in Thompson. As a result of this search, officers seized oxycodone pills, cannabis, a large amount of cash and electrified knuckles.

Todd Burton, 53, of Thompson has been arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. He has been remanded into custody.

RCMP continue to investigate.
