Swan Hills RCMP investigate ATM theft from Husky gas station on Highway 33

Swan Hills, Alberta – RCMP are searching for two suspects responsible for an ATM theft that occurred at a Husky gas station on Highway 33.

On Nov. 7, 2019 at approximately 3:12 a.m., a truck was used to rip open the front doors of the gas station and pull out the ATM. The ATM was loaded onto the back of the truck and fled southbound on Highway 33 towards Barrhead.

Police have determined the truck used in the offence had been stolen out of Stony Plain on Nov. 5, 2019.

Suspect #1 was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, plaid coat, and white camo pants.

Suspect #2 was wearing a green camo jacket and blue coveralls.

Vehicle is described as a dark blue Chevrolet Silverado with white flame decals along the side, a “D” sticker in the rear window, and a black slip tank.
