RCMP Major Crimes Unit charge male in homicide investigation

Wetaskiwin, Alberta – On Nov. 8, 2019, a female was located deceased in her residence near Armena, Alberta.

Through investigation, a male was identified as a suspect and arrested on Nov. 9, 2019 in Edmonton.

Nicolas Dagenais (23) of Fort McMurray has been charged with murder in the death of Roslyn Nelson (78). He was remanded into custody and is set to appear in Wetaskiwin Provincial Court on Nov. 26, 2019 via CCTV. RCMP are not looking for any other suspects.
