Online Seller Robbed in Cambridge Parking Lot

Cambridge, Ontario – On November 9, 2019, at approximately 5 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police received a report of a robbery that occurred in a parking lot on Rose Street in Cambridge. The victims had arranged to meet a buyer to sell an item that they had listed on a buy and sell website.

During the interaction, the suspect sprayed the one of the victims with a noxious substance and fled the area with the victim’s item.

The suspect was last seen fleeing the area in a grey or dark coloured SUV, driven by another male. The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident.

The first suspect has been described as male, 14-16 years of age, with tanned skin, skinny build wearing a winter jacket and dark pants.

The second suspect is described as a male, black, 14-16 years of age wearing a dark sweater, dark pants and white shoes.
