Arrest – Weapons Complaint – 700 Block Appleby Drive: Saskatoon Police Service

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – A 27 year old Saskatoon man is facing a number of charges following a report of suspicious activity involving a firearm in the 700 block of Appleby Drive.

At approximately 11:00 a.m., November 17, 2019 Police received a report that a male had repeatedly attended to an apartment and knocked on the door. The complainant reported the man was armed with a gun. Officers arrived and were able to locate the suspect at another apartment. At the time of his arrest he was in possession of a knife and brass knuckles and had a sawed-off rifle in the waistband of his pants.

The 27 year old man is now facing 12 charges including possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace. He was also wanted on outstanding warrants by both the SPS and the RCMP.
