Boyle RCMP arrest male in Long Lake Ski Hill break and enter, warrant for arrest issued for second suspect

Boyle, Alberta – On Monday Nov. 11, 2019 at approximately 12:30 p.m., Boyle RCMP were dispatched to a break and enter at the Long Lake Ski Hill, just outside of Boyle, Alta. The suspects gained access to the buildings on the property and stole various items. Members reviewed video surveillance on site and identified two suspects, with one being subsequently arrested by the RCMP shortly after.

Cody Minoose, 34-year-old male from Gibbons, Atla. was charged with the following criminal code offences:

• Break and Enter (X2)

• Breach of recognizance

Police continued their investigation and identified the second suspect involved. As a result an arrest warrant has been issued for Geordie Wilson, 32-year-old male from Redwater, Alta. Wilson is also facing criminal code charges of break and enter.

Minoose was remanded into custody after a judicial interim release hearing, and is scheduled to appear in Boyle Provincial Court on Tuesday Nov. 26 2019, at 10:00 a.m.
