Assistance Sought in Identifying Suspect in Robbery: Whitecourt RCMP – ARRESTED

Whitecourt, Alta. – The RCMP can confirm that Adam Duplessie has been located and arrested, without incident.  He is no longer wanted and public assistance is no longer required.

BACKGROUND

Whitecourt, Alberta – As a result of the assistance from the media and public, Whitecourt RCMP have laid a charge of Robbery and Disguise with Intent against Adam Duplessie (23) of Sangudo, Alberta.

“The assistance of the public in this investigation was invaluable and have led to the recovery of important evidence, including the alleged weapon,” states Cst. Alex Ayres of Whitecourt RCMP.

BACKGROUND

Whitecourt, Alberta – Whitecourt RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in a recent armed robbery.

On Friday, November 15, 2019 at 4:05 AM a lone suspect entered the 7-Eleven store located on the corner of 50 Ave and 51 Street of Whitecourt with a tire thumper. The suspect demanded money from the clerk, who complied with the demand, at which time the suspect departed on foot.

The suspect is believed to be:

• Male

• Light skin tone

• Approximately 5’5”

• Average build
