Lethbridge Police charge two with commercial break and enter

Lethbridge, Alberta – On November 26, 2019 at approximately 10:10 P.M. LPS patrol members were dispatched to a complaint of a break and enter in progress at Kirk’s Tire located at 238 22nd Street North. The complainant reported that he observed a male on video jump the fence to the compound area of Kirk’s Tire and was stealing rims from a bin in the compound. The complainant was able to watch the movements of two people on video carrying vehicle rims.

Responding officers located one male subject and one female subject in a parking lot on the north side of the Kirk’s Tire compound. Further investigation led officers to a Volkswagen Jetta with a small utility trailer connected to it parked nearby. Officers observed several vehicle rims belonging to Kirk’s Tire in the back of the utility trailer and subjects were then placed under arrest.

David Andrew Ferreira, 42, of no fixed address is charged with break, enter and theft. Ferreira was released by a Justice of the Peace and is scheduled to appear in court on December 18, 2019.

Connie Iqaluk Pudluk, 36, of no fixed address is charged with break, enter and theft. Pudluk was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in court on November 29, 2019.
