Multiple search warrants conducted in Kamloops

Kamloops, BC – RCMP Target Enforcement Unit (TEU) working in partnership with CFSEU-BC initiated an investigation into drug trafficking in Kamloops. This investigation resulted in three search warrants being executed; one at Sunshine Gardens Superstore in the 1700 block of Kelly Douglas Road; and two warrants executed at residences, one in the 100 Block of Knollwood Drive and one in the 1000 Block of Kinross Place. Two male suspects, 50 and 24 years-old, were arrested at the time the warrants were executed and have since been released from custody.

These search warrants resulted in the seizure of:

Over $350,000.00 in Canadian currency

Substantial amounts of illicit drugs including what is believed to be cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl and marihuana

A 40 caliber handgun with ammunition

Various items relating to drug trafficking

The next stage of the investigation will include reviewing all of the evidence seized and forwarding all investigative This week Kamloops RCMP, with support from Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of British Columbia (CFSEU-BC), executed several search warrants in
Kamloops in relation to drug trafficking.

Information to the BC Prosecution Service who will determine if/what charges will be forthcoming.
