We need your help in identifying armed robbery suspects: Whitehorse RCMP – ARRESTED

Whitehorse, Yukon – Whitehorse RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying suspects involved in an armed robbery at the Yukon Inn located at 4220 4th Avenue, Whitehorse.

On November 27th, 2019 at 2:20 am, two individuals with their faces concealed entered the back door of the Yukon Inn and went directly to the front desk where they demanded money.

Both suspects were armed; one with a knife and the other with a large stick. Money was given to the suspect with the knife who then cut many of the computer and telephone cables at the front desk and threw electronic devices and computer monitors onto the floor.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect 1 (no photo available) is male, noticeably shorter than suspect 2, and somewhat stocky. He was wearing a black zip up hoodie with a black face covering, blue jeans, black gloves and black shoes or boots.

Suspect 2 is possibly female, approximately 6 feet tall and thin. This suspect was wearing black pants, a white hoodie, a purple face covering, a black toque, grey fleece gloves and black shoes or boots.

The two men wanted by the Yukon RCMP have been taken into custody. The investigation by the RCMP “M” Division Major Crime Unit is ongoing.
