Suspect Arrested Moments After Fleeing Break and Enter in Strathmore

Strathmore, Alberta – In the Early evening hours of November 30, 2019, Strathmore RCMP responded to a complaint of a break and enter to a dwelling house in the Town of Strathmore.

Investigation led to the arrest of a male, who had broken and entered the home while the occupants were out. The accused was arrested moments later on foot after fleeing the residence. The accused was found to be in possession of a key to the property when arrested.

Bryce GIBSON (51) of Strathmore has been charged with break and enter to a dwelling house with intent to commit an indictable offence therein, and a second count of possession of property obtained by crime.

GIBSON is scheduled for a first appearance in Strathmore Provincial Court on December 6, 2019.
