Man charged for trafficking drugs in Upper Hammonds Plains, N.S.

Upper Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia – On December 3, Halifax District RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) charged a 27-year-old man with multiple offences following a search of a home.

As part of an investigation into drug trafficking, police obtained a search warrant for a home on Pockwock Rd. in Upper Hammonds Plain. During the search, police seized a quantity of cocaine, MDMA, cash and drug paraphernalia.

Jakeel Kwan Tynes, of Upper Hammonds Plains has been charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking MDMA.

Tynes is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on December 5 at 9:30 a.m.
