Pincher Creek RCMP seeking the public’s assistance to ID suspect in armed robbery

Pincher Creek, Alberta – On Dec. 9, 2019, at approximately 6:00 p.m., a lone male entered the Great Canadian Liquor Store located at 838 Main Street Pincher Creek.

The male walked directly to several cases of Vodka that were on display in the store and started to pick two cases of vodka up. A store clerk approached the male and asked if he could help him when the male pulled a large knife from his sweater pocket and motioned at the clerk. The clerk was not injured.

The male then picked up two cases of vodka and exited the store, then walked south on St John avenue. It is believed he then entered a car that was waiting and drove away.

The male was wearing a black hoody with CARHARTT written down the left sleeve, a black toque and blue jeans. He appears darker skinned, possibly in his 20’s.
