Leduc RCMP looking for driver involved in collision with pedestrian

Leduc, Alberta – On Sunday, December 15th, 2019, at approximately 1:10 p.m., Leduc RCMP responded to a hit and run collision in the 5200 block of Discovery Way. An 11-year-old female was walking in the Dairy Queen parking lot when she was struck by a black Dodge half ton truck causing serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the truck did not provide her information and departed the scene prior to police arrival.

The driver was described as female, 5’6″ tall and heavier set.

“Leduc RCMP is looking for witnesses to the collision and would like to speak with anyone who might have seen the collision or the truck in question” said Constable Cheri-Lee Smith.
