Musquodoboit Harbour, Nova Scotia – Halifax District RCMP is investigating a fatal single vehicle collision that happened yesterday evening in Musquodoboit Harbour.
Police responded to the collision at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Hwy. 357. A car had left the road and entered the Musquodoboit River.
The driver and only occupant, a 46-year-old woman from Meaghers Grant was transported to hospital and later pronounced deceased.
EHS and Musquodoboit Harbour and Porters Lake Volunteer Fire Departments also responded. An RCMP Collision Analyst attended the scene. The investigation is ongoing. The Hwy. was closed for several hours but has since been re-opened.
