Leduc RCMP arrest 32-year-old man wanted on warrants

Leduc, Alberta – On January 1st, 2020, Leduc RCMP were made aware of the location of a male with outstanding warrants. Officers attended the residence to arrest the male. The property representative told police the male was not there.

A short time later, a vehicle associated to the wanted male was seen leaving the residence. Officers identified the driver as being the male wanted on warrants and the female passenger as the property representative. Police attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver failed to stop for police. Police located the vehicle abandoned in a nearby neighbourhood and arrested the female passenger.

With the assistance of RCMP Police Dog Services and RCMP Air Services, Leduc RCMP conducted surveillance in the area and the wanted male was arrested without incident.

Kyle Dale Fox (32) of Leduc has been charged with:

• Flight from Peace Officer

• Obstruct Peace Officer

• Take Motor Vehicle without consent

• Operation while prohibited

Fox has been held in custody since his arrest and will appear in court on January 9th, 2020.

No injuries were sustained as a result of this incident.
