Sturgeon County, Alberta – The RCMP continue to investigate a collision that occurred on Dec. 19, 2019 and resulted in the recent death of one of the vehicle occupants.
At 2:46 a.m., the RCMP responded to the collision at Township Road 554 and Range Road 252. The collision involved an SUV and a passenger car. The five occupants of both vehicles were all transported to hospitals.
On Jan. 4, 2020, a 16-year-old female who remained in the hospital since the collision succumbed to her injuries.
An RCMP collision analyst attended the collision scene to conduct an examination following the collision. The RCMP continue to investigate this collision. A further update will be provided if more information becomes available.
