Tip from the public results in four arrests: Innisfail RCMP

Innisfail, Alberta – On January 4th 2020, Innisfail RCMP received a report from a concerned citizen of a white Ford F350 dually truck which appeared to be stuck in the ditch west of Penhold Alberta. 4 people were observed fleeing the area on foot. Innisfail RCMP responded and confirmed that the truck was stolen from the Sylvan Lake area and was the suspect vehicle involved in multiple occurrences throughout central Alberta. With the assistance from Red Deer RCMP, Red Deer RCMP Crime Reduction Team, and RCMP police Dog Services all four suspects were located and arrested without incident.

Peter Walker (34 years) of Innisfail Alberta has been charged with

• Possess property obtained by crime over $5000

• Possess property obtained by crime under $5000

• Fail to comply x3

• Possess break in tools

• Trespass

Walker has been remanded, his next court appearance is January 21 2020 in Red Deer Provincial Court

Harvey Lee-Bernick (35 years) has been charged with

• Possess property obtained by crime over $5000

• Possess property obtained by crime under $5000

• Fail to comply x1

• Possess break in tools

• Trespass

Lee-Bernick has been remanded, his next court appearance is January 10 2020 in Red Deer Provincial Court

Jason Cunningham (30 years) of Stettler Alberta has been charged with

• Possess property obtained by crime over $5000

• Possess property obtained by crime under $5000

• Fail to comply x4

• Possess break in tools

• Trespass

• Break and Enter with intent

• Mischief under $5000

Cunningham has been remanded, his next court appearance is January 10, 2020 in Red Deer Provincial Court
The fourth individual has been arrested and charges are pending however have not been sworn before the courts yet and therefore can not be made public at this time.

A search of the stolen vehicle was conducted and additional property was located RCMP have investigated and were able to return that property to the lawful owners.
