Bonnyville RCMP seek suspects in firearm related incident

Bonnyville, Alberta – Today at approximately 7:20 a.m., Bonnyville RCMP were dispatched to an armed robbery involving a stolen truck with multiple armed suspects.

The stolen truck has since been located abandoned southwest of the Kehewin Reserve. Bonnyville RCMP are currently attempting to determine the whereabouts of anyone who was inside utilizing RCMP Police Dog Services.

There were five suspects in relation to this robbery and police are asking the public to take a look at the attached suspect photos. They should not be approached and are considered armed and dangerous.

Police are also seeking the public’s assistance in locating a stolen dark blue Dodge Caravan with Alberta Licence plate BZJ 8669 which may be related to the incident. If you see this vehicle, please do not approach it or any occupants and call 911 immediately.

The stolen truck is described as a 1997 White Chevrolet 1500 Z71 with Saskatchewan Licence Plate 877 KMX. It has been spotted in the rural area surrounding Bonnyville since the incident. The public is asked to be on the lookout for this vehicle. Bonnyville RCMP are also seeking the public’s assistance in locating a stolen dark blue Dodge Caravan with Alberta Licence plate BZJ 8669 which may be related to the incident. Should you see either of these vehicles the RCMP advises not to approach and to call 911 immediately.
