High River RCMP investigate armed robbery at 7-11

High River, Alberta – The High River RCMP are investigating a robbery with a firearm which occurred at the High River 7-11 in the early morning hours of January 21, 2020. No persons were injured, and two suspects fled on foot.

At 2:15 a.m., RCMP were dispatched. Investigation reveals that two suspects wearing masks entered the 7-11 in High River. The first suspect produced a handgun and demanded money and cigarettes. The second suspect stole chocolate milk and energy drinks. Both males exited the store together and ran away on foot.

The High River RCMP continue to investigate, and are seeking any video surveillance available between Macleod Trail and 3rd Avenue SW, from 1 Street SE to 1 Street SW, the immediate blocks around the High River 7-11.
