Airdrie RCMP charge 5 people with Fraud and Drug Offences

Airdrie, Alberta – On January 28, 2020 Airdrie RCMP responded to a complaint of someone using a stolen credit card to make a purchase at the McDonald’s restaurant located on Edmonton Trail in Airdrie, Alta.

Investigation resulted in the arrest of two adult males and three youth (1 male and 2 females). A search of the vehicle incidental to arrest resulted in the seizure of 1.5 pounds of Psylocibin (known as magic mushrooms) and 28 grams of cocaine.

Agout Atak Agout (20 yrs old) of Calgary, Alta was charged with:

• Obstructing a Peace Officer

• Obtaining food by fraud

• Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (x2).

• He also had outstanding arrest warrants out of Lethbridge.

Agout Atak Agout has been remanded into custody and will be appearing in Airdrie Provincial court on February 6, 2020.

Bol Atak Agout (18 yrs old) of Calgary was charged with:

• Obtaining food by fraud

• Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (x2)

Bol Atak Agout was released on conditions and will appear in Airdrie Provincial court on February 27, 2020.

The three youth were also charged with Obtaining food by Fraud and two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
