Airdrie RCMP investigate vehicle thefts and mischief

Airdrie, Alberta – Airdrie RCMP are seeking public assistance in identifying a male responsible for the theft of a vehicle and multiple incidents of theft and mischief.

Some time overnight on February 7, 2020, between the hours of 8:00 p.m and 2:55 a.m, a white 2006 Ford Econoline van was stolen from the Gateway neighbourhood, located in Airdrie, Alta.

Just prior to 3:00 a.m the Econoline was driven into the parkade of a building complex in the Mackenzie Way neighbourhood. Suspects proceeded to damage property and steal items from multiple vehicles. The suspects then departed the scene in a grey 2004 GMC Safari, which they stole from the parkade.

One of these suspects has been arrested (shorter male with black jacket). The other is still outstanding.
