Airdrie RCMP seek public assistance in identifying theft and fraud suspect

Airdrie, Alberta – Airdrie RCMP are asking the public for assistance in identifying a male suspect. On January 30, 2020 at approximately 12:30 a.m, a male suspect entered a garage in the neighbourhood of Midtown located in Airdrie, Alta. The suspect stole a purse, wallet and backpack from a vehicle in the garage. He then visited several local businesses and used a credit card which had been in the stolen wallet. He made 6 different purchases.

The suspect is described as:

• Caucasian male

• Approximately 6 feet tall with a slim build

• Wearing glasses, brown boots, blue jeans, dark coloured gloves, dark grey jacket and a dark grey winter hat
