Red Deer RCMP asks Deer Park residents to check surveillance cameras

Red Deer, Alberta – Red Deer RCMP responded to two reports of shots being fired at a residence in Deer Park late Monday and early Tuesday morning.

On Feb. 17, 2020 at approximately 9:10 p.m. RCMP received a call of a shot fired at a residence’s front window. A second shot was fired at the same residence at approximately 3:40 a.m. on Feb. 18, 2020. No one was injured during either of these incidents. Police believe these are isolated incidents and not random.

Red Deer RCMP continue to investigate and are seeking tips from the public. Residents on Dixon Crescent and Douglas Avenue are asked to check their surveillance cameras for any unusual activity that occurred between 8:45 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. on Feb. 17 and between 3:15 a.m. and 3:45 a.m. on Feb. 18 and to contact Red Deer RCMP at 403-343-5575.
