Red Deer RCMP arrest seven individuals in connection to drug and weapon offences

Red Deer, Alberta – Red Deer RCMP, with the assistance of the RCMP Emergency Response Team, executed multiple search warrants yesterday resulting in seven arrests.

At approximately 2 p.m. on Feb. 27, 2020, search warrants were executed at two residences for drug and weapon related offences. There was a heavy police presence in the area of 47A Avenue and 55 Street and 58 Avenue in Highland Green. Multiple firearms as well as drugs for the purposes of trafficking were seized from two residences. Six people were arrested at these addresses.

A seventh arrest occurred on 49 Street and 48 Avenue with the assistance of ERT in connection to the above search warrants and charges are pending.
