RCMP investigating multiple cases of mail theft: Saint-Léonard RCMP

Saint-Léonard, New Brunswick – The West District RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in their investigation of theft of mail and damage to mailboxes in at least four communities in northwestern New Brunswick.

Sometime in the overnight hours between March 17 and 18, 2020, someone forced open numerous community mailboxes and stole mail. The incidents took place in the communities of Saint-André , Tilley, New Denmark and Blue Bell.

Anyone with information about these incidents or who may have recently been a victim of mail theft is asked to contact the Saint-Léonard RCMP at 506-473-3137. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppersby calling 1-800-222-TIPS(8477), or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.
