Thompson RCMP investigate aggravated assault

Thompson, Manitoba – On March 20, 2020, at 11:00 pm, Thompson RCMP responded to a report of an injured male on Station Road. Officers arrived and located a 31-year-old-male with multiple stab wounds. The male was transported to hospital in critical condition.


The investigation led to the arrest of 19-year-old Sunil Tiger Oman, from Thompson, who was remanded into custody on charges of Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

The 31-year-old male remains in hospital and is now in stable condition.

RCMP continue to investigate.
