Airdrie RCMP looking for video surveillance footage of Saturday night incident

Airdrie, Alberta – Airdrie RCMP are requesting public assistance in regards to an incident which occurred Saturday night.

At approximately 10:50 p.m. on March 28, 2020, Airdrie RCMP members attempted a vehicle stop on a truck that was driving erratically. The driver failed to stop for police and fled westbound on 40th Avenue. A short time later the truck stopped at the south end of 8th Street and the two occupants fled on foot into the Hillcrest neighbourhood.

The two suspects were not located, however it is known that they were in many yards in Hillcrest. RCMP are asking residents in this area to please check any video surveillance they might have. If you are able to see the two males, please e-mail Airdrie RCMP at [email protected]
