Airdrie RCMP arrest 4 involved in bear spray incident

Airdrie, Alberta – Airdrie RCMP arrested and charged four females after an attempted theft and bear spraying incident which occurred on March 31, 2020 at approximately 6:30 p.m.

Four females were observed sitting in a vehicle in the Shopper’s Drug Mart parking lot located on Coopers Boulevard in Airdrie, Alta. Two of the females got out of the car and entered the store. They proceeded to fill two bags with perfume and then attempted to leave the store without paying. Employees were able to get the perfume back and then followed the girls to their vehicle. It was at this time when one of the females bear sprayed an employee.

The females then drove away and a short time later were involved in a collision on the west end of the city. RCMP attended and all 4 were arrested without incident.

Jasmine Holy-White-Man (30 yrs) of Calgary, Alta has been charged with 6 criminal code offences, including:

• Assault with weapon

• Theft under $5000

She has been remanded into custody.

Tanisha Nippi (22 yrs) of Calgary, Alta has been charged with 6 criminal code offences, including:

• Assault with weapon

• Theft under $5000

She was released on conditions and will be appearing in Airdrie Provincial Court on June 18, 2020.

Jadin Machiskinic (18 yrs) of Calgary, Alta has been charged with 3 criminal code offences, including:

• Assault with weapon

• Theft under $5000

She was released on conditions and will be appearing in Airdrie Provincial Court on June 18, 2020.

Lene Warrior (21 yrs) of Calgary, Alta has been charged with 4 criminal code offences, including:

• Assault with weapon

• Theft under $5000

She was released on conditions and will be appearing in Airdrie Provincial Court on June 18, 2020.
