Cochrane RCMP Seize Guns and Drugs During Search Warrant in Morley, Alberta

Morley, Alberta – On May 7th 2020, Cochrane RCMP received a complaint of a male with a firearm in Morley, Alberta. After attending and securing a residence, RCMP later executed a search warrant seizing multiple firearms including handguns and 63 grams of methamphetamine.

Carlyle Holloway of Morley has been charged with 58 different offences including;

• Possession of Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking

• 55 charges for Weapons offences

• 2 charges for Breaches of Conditions

Carlyle has been taken before a justice of the peace and is remanded for court on May 12th, 2020 in Cochrane.

Tommie Borris Holloway of Morley has been charged with;

• Possession of Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking

• 4 charges for weapons offences

Tommie was taken before a justice of the peace and was released on $2500 no cash bail for court on July 21st, 2020 in Cochrane.

Two other individuals from Morley are facing additional charges and have been released.

“These arrests demonstrate the close relationship between firearms and the drug trade” ,says Cpl. Troy Savinkoff of the Cochrane RCMP. Cochrane RCMP encourages the public to call police if they have information on people they suspect are trafficking in illegal drugs.
