Parkland RCMP request public’s assistance to identify person of interest

Spruce Grove, Alberta – On April 27, 2020 at approximately 8:45 p.m., Parkland RCMP and the Parkland Fire Department were dispatched to a structure fire in the area of Township 540 and Range Road 280, the Oakwood Estates subdivision. The structure was a new home that was under construction. The cause of the fire is under investigation and is considered to be suspicious.

On the same date at approximately 8:00 p.m., video surveillance showed an unknown Caucasian male, believed to have a shaved or brush-cut hairstyle, arrive at the location. The male was driving what appears to be a 2000-2003 dark-colored single cab GMC Sierra 2500 4X4 with a push bumper, a chrome headache rack, a black ladder rack at the rear of the bed and toolboxes inside the truck bed.
