Calgary Police looking for truck connected to shootings; “a shotgun was fired into the front door of a home”

Calgary, Alberta – We are asking for help to identify a truck that is believed to have been involved in three separate shootings this past week.

Around 4:10 a.m., on Monday, May 18, 2020, a shotgun was fired into the front door of a home in the 0-100 block of Shawinigan Way S.W. Then, five days later on Saturday, May 23, 2020, residents in the same area reported hearing a gunshot around 5:15 a.m. This was followed by reports that a house, located in a different community along Queen Anne Place S.E., had a shotgun fired into the front of the house around 5:45 a.m.

No one was injured and the connection between the incidents is still being determined.

In all three incidents, witnesses and CCTV saw a similar pickup truck fleeing the scene. It is described as a black, early 2000s-model, possibly Dodge or Chevrolet pickup truck with a silver toolbox in the back. The CCTV photos are not high-quality, but they are being released in the hopes that they might be recognizable for someone who knows the vehicle.
