RCMP looking for second suspect in Attempt Murder investigation – ARRESTED

East St. Paul, Manitoba – Amy Heinrichs has been arrested and has been remanded into custody.

BACKGROUND

East St. Paul, Manitoba – On May 21, 2020, at approximately 4:25 am, East St. Paul RCMP responded to a report of an injured female on Pipeline Road, in the RM of West St. Paul.

The 32-year-old female victim was assaulted in Winnipeg, driven outside of the city where she continued to be assaulted, and was left in a ditch. The female managed to get to a nearby residence for help.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The investigation led to the arrest of 33-year-old Hillary Harper, who has been charged with Attempt Murder, Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault, Forcible Confinement and Sexual Assault. She has been remanded into custody.

RCMP are currently looking for a second suspect, and are asking the public for their assistance.

Amy Heinrichs, 39, is WANTED for Attempt Murder, Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault, Forcible Confinement and Sexual Assault.

She is described as 5’9″ in height with a large build, brown hair and brown eyes. She has a large tattoo on her upper left arm. She resides in Winnipeg but has ties to the Fisher Branch and Peguis areas.
