Camrose, Alberta – May 28, 2020 – Lock it or Lose it. A male advised Police that someone entered his unlocked vehicle parked on 65 street in the 5000 block and stole his wallet.
A traffic stop resulted in a male passenger being and arrested and charged with breaching his curfew and alcohol conditions.
Police dealt with four separate mental health situations throughout the day. One of the situations was mediated, two resulted in transfers to St. Mary’s hospital and one individual was taken to the Centennial Center in Ponoka.

A routine traffic stop resulted in the male driver being charged with driving while suspended as well as being arrested on two outstanding warrants.
Police were contacted by someone concerned for the wellbeing of a friend who had sent some disturbing messaging. Police attended the residence and gained entry into the home where the friend was located unconscious on the floor. EMS attended and transported the patient to St. Mary’s hospital.
Police received a Curb the Danger call regarding a possible impaired driver. A traffic stop was conducted and although the driver passed the Mandatory Alcohol Screening test, the passenger was issued violation tickets for having access to cannabis and open alcohol within the vehicle.
