May 22 – May 28 COVID-19-related Saskatchewan RCMP calls for service

Saskatchewan – As an update to previously released information, below is a summary from the past week of COVID-19-related calls for service in Saskatchewan RCMP jurisdiction.

From May 22 to May 28, 2020, inclusive, there were 62 calls for service related to COVID-19:

· 13 complaints of large gatherings of over 10 people;

· 3 complaints of people failing to self-isolate when allegedly required to do so; and

· 46 other COVID-19 related complaints.


No charges were laid.

The Public Health Order is still in place and we continue to work closely with Saskatchewan Health Authorities to investigate any potential violations of the Order.

The Saskatchewan RCMP continues to keep communities safe by responding to calls for service. With the province slowly reopening, we must all continue to do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and follow the Public Health Order, which is still in place.
