UPDATE: Five year old Woolwich, Ontario drowning victim passes away in hospital

Woolwich, Ontario – On June 15, 2020, police were notified that the five-year-old girl passed away while in hospital as a result of an accidental drowning. No further information will be released.

Woolwich, Ontario – On June 13, 2020, shortly after 6 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to the area of Snyders Flats Road in Woolwich for a report of a possible drowning. A five-year-old girl was found in a pond and has been transported to a hospital outside of the Region in critical condition.
