Camrose, Alberta – June 29, 2020 – Police conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle when it was observed traveling at 88 km/hr in a 50 km/hr speed zone. The female displayed obvious signs of alcohol impairment and was arrested for impaired driving. The female provided two samples of her breath that were twice the legal limit. The 33 year old was charged with impaired driving and exceeding the speed limit.
June 28, 2020
Police received multiple calls of a truck on 68 street pulling a piece of farm equipment which was colliding with city signage. Police caught up to the vehicle and the male driver was unaware that he was damaging street signs. A collision report was completed and the driver is responsible for the cost of damage.
A witness contacted Police to report a suspicious male had dropped off two duffle bags behind the Camrose Community Church. Police seized the bags which contained welding helmets, cleaning supplies and a tent. It is unknown if the items were stolen or why the bags were left in the area.
Police assisted a parent in searching for his daughter who left their residence in a poor state of mind. The youth was located and agreed to attend St. Mary’s hospital to speak with a doctor.

While conducting patrols Police observed a male with an outstanding warrant. The male was arrested and released after paying his fine.
Police were dispatched to a residence to assist with a female who was struggling with depression. The female was transferred to St. Mary’s hospital by EMS and arrangements were made to find care for her children.
June 24, 2020
A female contacted Police to report that her 2002 Chev Avalanche had been stolen overnight from her residence. The owner further advised that a male had stayed at her residence the night prior and likely was responsible. It was believed that the vehicle had been driven to Maskwacis so the RCMP were advised and were able to locate the vehicle and arrest three men who were in possession of the stolen property.
A female requested Police assistance in removing property from her residence. The female who had visible injuries advised that her boyfriend had assaulted her that day as well as on numerous occasions in the past. Police are searching for the male who is facing charges of uttering threats and assault.
Police were advised of damage to a local fast food restaurant. A front window and a drive thru window had both been smashed. Police have good descriptions of the male and are reviewing video surveillance to identify the suspect.
