Edmonton Police seek public’s assistance locating missing senior – LOCATED

Edmonton, Alberta – The 62-year-old man who was reported missing on Friday, July 10, 2020, has been located safe and unharmed. The EPS would like to thank everyone who shared the initial news release.

BACKGROUND

Edmonton, Alberta – The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 62-year-old man.

Just before 7 p.m. yesterday, Friday, July 10, 2020, Johnny Simpson, 62, reportedly left his residence in the area of 174 Avenue and 110 Street to go for a walk, but did not return.

Simpson is 5’10″ and 141 lbs with brown eyes, and black hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap with “Yellowknife” written on the front in white font, a multi-coloured shirt with brown pants and a blue jacket.

Simpson has a medical condition that may impair decision making. As a result, there are concerns for his well-being. There are no indications to suggest foul play at this time.
